Put a W in the Win Column!

Hello!

It's so great to be able to look at a new year and feel the anticipation of what it could hold. I know that the last twenty months have been hard. I want to encourage you - God has gone before us, He is constantly working around us, and He is faithful. I have seen a lot of memes or images showing that 2022 has started off poorly. Don't be discouraged! God is going to do something unique and beautiful this year.

Last week, we hosted our first Pond Hockey Tournament in 2020. It was a small and mighty tournament. We played the tournament with six teams instead of our standard 12, and it was so much fun; back to back games, rinks connected by a skating path, a giant bale maze, and goats...we can't forget the goats.

As the day closed out, we reported raising nearly $32,000 for camp programs. We are just waiting for a few pledges to come to confirm the final number. It was so encouraging to see donations come in from absent teams. We just love our Pond Hockey players.

  • District 5 Slugs came in as our Top Fundraising Team - raising $7800!
  • "Who's Your Daddy?" won over the Pond Paddlers for the Tournament Win.

In the coming months, we would love for you to participate in some important dates. Upcoming 2022 retreats, our AGM, and our Tough Camper Run. Come hang out with us!

Please join us! Come to the forest and experience adventure, connection, growth, and belonging.

In Christ,

Courtney (Jogee) Armstrong | Director
